Editorial Reviews

From Booklist
Never mind that the patterns here have been gathered from many previous issues of the 20-year-old Vogue Knitting. And it doesn't really make much difference that, in this collection of 50-plus "quick" projects, not one indicates how much time is required to complete the work. As always, the magazine has compiled a treasury of well-designed, mostly easy-to-fashion (as in Very Easy Very Vogue, 1999) wearables for women--plus a few for men and kids--with excellent color photographs and never-fail directions. After a first short chapter covering the basics (reading patterns, yarn selection, terms, gauge, and the like), copy is light and focuses primarily on the projects. Never dated; always responsive to crafter needs and concerns. Barbara Jacobs
