Beautiful projects, great color schemes, a nice section on crocheting household items. Fairly good instruction pages, but I've seen better. Uses some non-traditional materials: fabric, twine. Sample items include: square and circular pillows, small containers, afghans, throw rugs, bottle covers, slippers and baskets. Minus points for a lack of photos showing each project in its entirety.

Good straightfoward book on afghans. The color palette is dated, but with some imagination, crocheters can breathe new life into these designs. A good range of simple-difficult stitches. Worth the money.

By far my favorite book of baby blankets, this includes modern and classic patterns for boys and girls. Projects range from simple to experienced and are real showpieces. Some innovative techniques, such as weaving in colors, making animals and flowers for applying on a finished blanket, pom-poms, and scalloped edging.
