Using size three (US) needles and sport weight yarn, it's easy to knit beautiful socks that fit. Socks are really a good way to learn knitting because many different techniques are used, e.g., circular knitting, decreasing, increasing, picking up and grafting.

Technically, the books are perfection, but without the wonderful readability of EZ's books. Starmore's books include titles on a variety of traditional knitting styles including Fair Isle, Scandinavian and Aran.
